Project Goal
Research, explore, and create a future state experience for Prescriptions within our future state digital ecosystem.
Outcome
Using insights and criteria informed by user, market, and subject-matter expert research, we wire-framed and built a functioning prototype for user validation. We then used the learnings from user testing to create a set of guidelines around how to bring the experiences to life, from MVP to nice-to-haves.

Understanding and managing drug costs, along with learning how your prescriptions work, is a significant source of confusion for many members. This also accounts for a large portion of the calls we receive about members' plans.

Due to our emerging partnership with OptumRX, our leadership wanted to test and validate the products, features, and experiences they could offer our members, as well as identify what is still missing from a potential future experience. During our initial research, we identified several key areas that both members and subject-matter experts emphasized during our qualitative interviews.

We collected this information alongside the business goals from leadership, and I collaborated with our service designers and design leads to create from initial wireframes a working concept prototype. This prototype enabled us to validate our findings and gather additional insights, which we then prepared for leadership and future implementation teams.
